Ah, 'Godless' my first real attempt at a short story. Keep in mind, it is rather short, only about 10 pages long, and my friend enjoyed it, however now I'm thinking that mayhaps he wasnt the best judge?
Who is?
Me.
I did a quick glance of the story and determined that its not up to par with how it should be, theres gapping holes in the story and flaws every few pages.
Just looking back, its been about a month since I looked at the story, so its kind of nice being able to look at it without it being so fresh in my mind and being able to see the problems that before eluded me.
I should have a new version set up in only a matter of days, who knows, maybe I'll get cracking tonight.
But it is a little worrisome that some of the most simple things that I should have put in from the get-go, are not in this story. But, that feeling fades away as I fix it and review other works and smile at them.
Oh, and it goes away when I stop thinking.
